This seminar brought together researchers, in conjunction with representatives from the voluntary and public sector, to explore what permanence means to them and the aligned challenges in achieving this for vulnerable children. Speakers used their knowledge and experience to give perspectives on a wide range of issues, including Special Guardianship Orders, calculating the cost of permanence and local authority partnerships.
